Writing for Success with Robin Robin Kellogg–Book Coach and Editor
Writing has been a passion and a pastime for Robin since childhood. It was a way for her to express her deepest emotions and thoughts. Today, she uses her writing and storytelling talents to help her clients convey their stories.
In 2000 after years of working in editorial and writing positions for industrial trade magazines and corporate communications, she established Robin Kellogg Associates. The company began as a small publishing house for newsletters and directories, but after a few short years Robin realized it was the writing that inspired and motivated her. She noticed that many small to mid-size companies seemed to scramble every time they needed to send out communications or marketing pieces. They didn’t have the in-house departments like the large firms and couldn’t afford to hire an agency when they did have a project come down the pipeline. She geared her business toward being their on-call director of communications and marketing, someone they could contact to create the content for their web pages, brochures and press releases, making sure it was on point and consistent with everything else they were sending their customers.
Robin has expanded her business in 2013 to include Robin Kellogg Associates for Authors, which offers book writing workshops to authors who find value in a small group setting. Robin also offers on-on-one book coaching services.
She is the recipient of the Woman of Achievement Award presented by the Greater San Fernando Valley Business and Professional Women, and has twice been a runner up at the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women Making A Difference Awards in the Volunteer of the Year category.
Robin is a wife and mother of Max 23.
